  Hands down my new favorite. Tons of variety and new things to try. Food was delicious. Three adults and one child got a ton of food for 50 bucks. Unique and wonderful experience. Language not a problem. Pictures are on the menu, just point! You will not be disappointed.

  This place really hit the spot for my craving of dim sum. I really wanted a good steamed pork bun. The pork gyoza and shrimp balls were amazing. The egg rolls were crispy and fresh. I saw some other negative reviews on here and on yelp so I was apprehensive about trying this place but I’m glad we decided to give this place a shot. When I have a craving for good dim sum, I’ll be sure to be back.

  Dim Sum King is probably my favorite Dim Sum restaurants in Houston! Yes there's plenty of other dim sum restaurants in the Houston area and I've been to plenty of them (Kim Son, Ocean Palace, Fung's HK Dim Sum etc), but I find myself keep coming back to Dim Sum King. Once upon a time this restaurant was super tiny and there would always be a wait. But after the renovation, the restaurant is a lot more spacious and I haven't had to wait to dine here. Let's not forget they offer all day dim sum! The only thing you will probably miss is the staff walking around with a cart full of food since here, you actually have to order what you want. I prefer it that way anyway since with the cart, the food I want usually takes a long time to get to my table and they're usually out of it.

  I guess the whole point of my review boils down to “not what I expected.” Very few chicken dishes, approximately 2, and there was a bit too much fried/doughy food on the menu. I would definitely try another place instead. You have SO many options!!

  Fresh made to order dim sum and the greatest service I've experienced from a dim sum place in China town! Wow!!! Calvin, our waiter was very attentive and took care of us so well! It was extremely busy as usual for a Sunday afternoon, however Calvin was super fast getting our order and food delivered to our table, and refilled our drinks several times throughout our time there. The selections here are very limited, though they are all very good. Super fresh and crunchy for the items that are to be crunchy, and steam rice cakes don't fall apart like most places! Can not wait to come back for their delicious dim sum!
